Fiat manufacturer code U1706 = CAN Network NCM - NFR

This refers to a connection problem between the Engine Management ECU and the Brake ECU.

I suspect it's nothing to do with the airbag failure warning message. You would need to get this diagnosed with something that will communicate with the airbag ECU such as Fiat Examiner, Bosch or, as I've recently discovered, the Snap On tester.

Hi Have an issue with drivers door wont shut or lock something bout door catch!!! Been quoted £93.00 from local dealer. Havnt got a clue as to if its broken but ...... the wee catch thing is pushed right back in the door... can this be released
