Assuming that de-badging is the cheapest and easiest way to make your car look better and knock 2-3 seconds off your 0-60 times, how come Im having problems with it!?! The back of my 98 Cinq Sporting got the treatment the other day and now Iv got the writing in a faded red colour on the back now! You can still read what it said before!! Iv tried red coloured T-Cuting it but to no avail. I was planning on leaving it for a week or two to see if it got any better but IM planning on going to Oakerthorpe on Thursday and Nottingham on Sunday and my cars lookin a mess! Also, the front speakers are s**te, Im planning on keeping the original positions and replacing them so I need some replacment speakers. Ive seen some Kenwood 4 inch co-axials that sound sweet (well...as sweet as 4inch co-axials can!)so I am planning on purchasing, but Ive heard that fitting speakers with protrusions can foul the grille. has anyone got any ideas?? I was thinking of cutting an inch big hole and filing the edges so that the tweeter can be seen. Also I wanna fit some in the rear quarter panels. Has any one got any ideas how tho get the plastic moulding out so's I can work on it? Apart from this and the fag lighter and clock not working Im fairly happy with it. Go-kart handling as standard too!

debadging red cars can be problematic, especially older ones - red is probably the colour that is affected most by the sun and of course the bits under the badge aren't affected at all. i'd keep at it with the T-Cut - probably worth investing in the real thing from halfords instead of a colourfast version.

Do you mean the non-coloured T-Cut? I was gonna buy that one but I thought that the red would be better..and it cost £9 for the bottle! Gutted. Does anyone know how much the new style fiat badges cost from a fiat garage? The ones that are on the back of the new punto.

Gave it a going over last night with T-Cut original. Came up a treat mate! :) I had to go over a couple more times but it's made such a difference! Im gonna have another go with the original and the colourfast the next time I clean it, probably tonight. Top advice that mate! :D

No, just 99% of the time! :D:p

MMmm. So if I am going to de-badge my Stilo, I need to do it sooner rather than later...

Not really dark coloured cars are ok, where as the red cinq's tend to go a bit 'pink' over time due to the sun fading the paint.
Debadge it anyway, it will look loads better

...Just make sure you've got a bottle of T-Cut ready!
