So whats good about my Fiat?

They dont have such a fantastic community like us at FF. We have a laugh and know our cars will break down, but we have fun doing it. We dont need to bad mouth others cars. We all know what F.I.A.T means. We all meet up from time to time and at most meets who gets the most attention the Fiat's or the Vauxhall's.
You own a piece of nostalgic history, he owns a piece of Chav $hit :devil:. Stick with us and well get your car sorted so he hangs his head in shame when you pull up. (y)
Now how about an induction kit, In Car Entertainment, Styling we have it all. (Now hows that for a sales pitch lol it didnt start that way)
 
Tell him he's a sheep (he copies everyone else), drives a chav vehicle, looks like a chav and that he obviously is lacking in a certain department in that he feels he has to make himself seem more superior than you. ;)

Edit: Tell him girls like a guy who isnt trying to prove something. FTR I'd rather guy out with a guy that drives a funky car than a stupid high mass produced piece of turd.

I'd remind him each day that I could think of no cars on the road today that put out 44bhp from a 1.2 engine.

Remind him of the 17's 0-60 time of his corsa. And remind him that the 1.0 THREE CYLINDER lawnmower engine in that model corsa is quicker than his 1.2

Then beat him at the lights (1.1 sei will easily do this), then laugh at the fact that he actually owns a corsa, along with just about every other kid who writes their car off in the 1st 2 weeks of driving.

lol cheers hes always going on about how much more powerful his car is, but I dont know what bhp is, sorry, can some one explain?

whys that, whys there a difference between what happens has mine got extra protection or something like that?

Im realy sorry guys for asking all these questions, as you probably know im no mechanic but this stuff is realy interesting and I have to admit because of the posts ive read from you guys I really appreciate my car now :)

just a bit of advice, if you'd prefer someone with a relatively rare car, make sure it's reliable, or if it breaks the parts don't mean it's off the road for a month or so while the parts are tracked down :p
 
I own a Punto mk2 ‘01 (Y) and I bought a corsa to do up and sell to pay for some mods. My corsa is a ‘00 (W) I think compared, they look ugly, dated and they rust like hell, what they paint them with, emulsion???? No wonder they're going bust! My fiat has ABS, PAS, more power, more stereo... :) its a year younger but you'd think it was 10years younger! Italians know how to build a beautiful car. Also, for what they are corsas seem to be £hi£ loads to insure.

Your mate sonds like a bit of an idiot for always slagging you off for the car you own. Tell him to grow up and get a life. Your car is a great little motor (y)

Your car has far more character and style then his corsa will ever have, regardless of what ever he does to his car. Speaking from experience, i have driven that age of corsa in the past and they are not a very nice car to drive.

At the end of the day the car in which he drives, the company, GM, are in serious trouble and asking for government handouts just to keep them going, do you see Fiat in trouble - NO. Car sales may be low but, this can be said for all car manufacturers at the moment and, Fiat are not asking for government handouts.

Your mate knows bugger all and is just jumping on the band wagon of people who dislike Fiat's and cannot wait to have a pop at them. I get in work too by someone who owns a slow, old, boring golf so your not alone, i just laugh at him, tell me what you drive again.

People always tell me how they're relatives or friends have had Fiats and they don't last etcetera. I think that's a load of rubbish, and I always say:
"Of course they won't last if your relatives or friends tore the living guts out of them" and that is probably the real reason, normally they can't find an answer to that!

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions of different cars. I for example am not keen on Vauxhall, but do I go round making an idiot of myself telling someone who owns a Vauxhall how rubbish I think their piece of metal is?! No. :p
