Right, my MK2 is lowered 35mm allover on G-Max Springs.

The problem i find with the Mk2 is that the wheels always look smaller than they actually are! Now if i'm widing the arches, the problem in gonna get even worse! So...

I plan to get some really wide spacers, and stick some 18's on! Problem is is there a limit as to how wide a tyre i can go with 18's? the iwder the better, so fill out the arches more!

I was also thinknig that to reslove the problem, wld be to lower it 60mm allover! But keeping the 18's on!

Any help or advise wld be greatly appreciated!

how big is engine? if you put 18s on a 1.2 it wont pull very well

it's a 1.2 Mia, i'm not too bothered about speed jst now, insurcnce premits me form getting a fast car, i'm jst bothered about the appearence jst now, until i'll i get a reasoable quote for a a faster car!

How do your insurers feel about the body mods and 18 inch wheels?

i have declared every mod, inlcuding the 17's i have at the monet, and the insuracne went up by 100 quid a year

Incredibly reasonable. I found a more powerful standard car was cheaper to insure than a modified less powerful one.
