do I, get a new set of tyres, as there looking quite bald all round.
If I get some, they'll be GoodYear F1's.
OR
do I get a service, as 12months since last one is a week away. Dunno which service itll be, as when I brought it, to flush the system through, I have an 18000mile service even tho it had only done 8000miles. Its done 14000miles now.

Bear in mind I am gunna be doing bout a 800mile trip down to cornwall for a week.

So Tyres or Service.

if the tires are that bad they will probably be mentioned at the service anyway...

true,

there kinda on the limit. 2mm of tread on the rears, and the slightest bit more on the fronts. Damn Ventus tyres on Fox alloys. Nastiest tyre ever. they just shred. spose you get what you pay for really hehe.

ok hehe.

312quid for the tyres if i order the, off 4newtyres.co.uk, then I gotta get em fitted and balanced. so another 20-30 quid. I hate the cost of maintaining a car hehe, it should all be free lol.

Get the tyres.

Do the oil and filter yourself for £20 or so. Borrow a sump plug adapter (likely to be 12 mm hex).
The rest of the service will wait a bit.

If you don't stop it costs in time and grief B)

P.S. check the brake pads while you're all mucky ;)

wahey! you sound almost as nuts as me! ;):D

Yeah get the tyres and do you own service.
Change the oil, filter cost £30 max with decent oil.
I had Ventus tyres on my old Fox alloys, ok in the dry but s**te in the wet.

Agree with John and CentoEvo.

By the way, it's nice in Cornwall at the mo' [8D]

And the journey down from Brum is easy enough. Join M5 at J1 West Brom, then 165 miles straight down to J31 Exeter (nice long bend there by the way ;)) then onto the A30. Change to A39 depending on where you're going.

Incidentally, which part are you going to???

hi

thanks for the directions although i know the way as I used to live down there.
Right down in penzance, so its A30 all the way after M5.

Ordered the tyres and going to get oil and filter tomorrow, so will be sorted by tomorrow afternoon.

thanks for the help

[8)] Didn't realise you used to live there :I

If you're near Penzance then, I can recommend a visit to G.B Ongaro in St Just-in-Penwith for anything Fiat-related. :)

Have a good journey ;)
