First of all, were there any independent witnesses? As she pulled out of a side road, she has probably commited an offence like failing to give way or complying with a stop sign so it will ALWAYS help you case if you report her to the police. I know they will try and fob you off if no one was injured but you can press charges and they MUST act. Unfortunately, this should of probably been done at the time. Secondly, it seems as it was her fault so you can claim 'un-insured losses' like your excsess and you can also hire a car while yours is off the road. Your insureres should be able to advise you on that. There are also a few Loss recovery companies around who will persue the 'at fault driver' in recovering your losses and provide you with a courtesy car if you only have third party insurance. Hope this helps.

i have just phoned the garage because i have not heard anything from them and its been nearly 2 weeks well on monday it will be, they are ordering parts so there fixing it, my mot ran out on the 7th of feb so i asked them if there fixing the car can they mot it for me, not sure how much that will all cost.

Oh well at least your mobile and it sounds like the insurance wheels are in motion. Dont 4get that you should get your excess paid by the third party's insurers and also your no claims bonus should not be affected.(y)
