Was on way to work as normal in the afternoon when i got pulled over by under cover cop car, he said to me " follow me we are doing vehicle checks " so i did thinking that i was alright and all legal that was til they got there light detector for tinted windows, they tested it and it showed 19.8% lighted going through so i had to take the the drivers and passengers side window tint off ( was not happy ) they made me do it there and then in the bloody rain while they sat in there van drinking coffee, this has put a downer on me doing any more mods to it now because i have got the other windows tinted it looks like a bloomin van now, i need some inspiration before i decide ti get rid of it

just get slightly lighter tints on the front,

whats there meter like does it go right up against the glass or just inside the car?

the meter goes right up against the window, luckily they didnt fine me though, but the funny thing is they said they like my wheels!!!!!!!

I believe that all after market tints are illegal (on front screen and front sides), the only way to do it is get manufacturers tinted glass, which probably wouldn't be dark enough for you. Stupid I know.

they pulled me once since i had my tints im the kind of guy thats known and i have no record they just trying to give me one, anyway they pulled me to see what i was hiding in the back!!

paul u got to keep it mine goes in the bodyshop next week and i need competition lol another £3000 down the drain

ok ill keep it got quote for vw golf wheel arches 4 mine 150 quid per arch thats to weld them on a spray not in buying them
