Has anyone out there ever encountered any problems tightening the cylinder head bolts to manufacturers spec on the Fiat Punto 1.1 SOC? I've just replaced the head gasket on my 23000 Punto and I smashed one snap-on 13mm socket removing the bolts and two attempting to retighten after replacing the gasket. Am I ham fisted or is there something I should know? HELP!!!!

The head bolts yeah?

Are yu tightening them to the correct torque then staging them in the right order?

Obviously is something up somewhere.

Couldn't really advise without being therein person but you can get your snap on tools replaced if they are broken and you kept the parts due to the lifetime guarantee.

your not reading the Nm setting then setting to lbs the same number if you know what i mean?
