It's a 1.1 Fiat Uno. It's not going to go any quicker no matter what you do to it. Keep it standard, build up a no-claims bonus and start working towards bigger and better things that way instead of adding tatty plastic stick-on bits to your car!
Yes, I've owned several? My current Uno is a 1.1. Unless you are willing to spend lots of money of what is essentially a cheap £400 car you aren't going to get any more power.
i used to have a 1.0 uno... a pretty nice one if i must say myself
ive attatched a pic!
There are plenty of things u can do to em but u wont really see much power gain etc. as for bodywork, keeping it subtle with the original bodywork is the best IMO... maybe a bit of smoothing here and there but definatly lower it and get some nice alloys... 13" will look good and keep it speedie! 14" at the most... my uno was on 15"s and was pretty damn slow...
definatly colour the bumpers tho... makes an uno look 10x better.
i used to know loads of sites with mods for an uno... try http://www.needforspeed.co.uk ... they used to have plenty!
Yeah needforspeed.co.uk is a pretty good website for Uno bits but they are quite pricey.
If you click on my sig below and go to my little Uno fan site www.uno.ne1.net theres various links that may be of use and theres photos of other modded Unos for inspiration.
Ive got to agree with Bushboy though, that you should definitely lower it (say on GMax or Raceland kit) and get some alloys (ebay have plenty alloys that would fit, you should get some nice ones for about 100 quid)
