Hmmm Pistonheads Posters seem to like the new FIAT range and thats good.... now this Mr Andrew Humberstone.... how do we get him to get the less good FIAT dealerships focussed on after sales service rather than pure Sales volumes? :devil:

wow thats impressive. more than a third as many as mini sales in the whole europe (8985)

if its selling so well, i wonder why i've only seen one 500 on the roads so far.
actually it could be 2 if there are 2 white ones in team valley each day.


alfa romeo sales have plummeted, especially is the uk (down 44% in sept)

i dont have the sept figures yet (ACEA not published them) but august figures for all european sales for all brands are attached.

Fiat has achieved its greatest UK market share in four years, according to new car sales figures for September from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

The continuing slump in sales of new cars in UK has boosted Fiat’s market share by 15.4 per cent from last year as buyers move to smaller, more fuel efficient cars,. Figures for September show its market share is up from 2.6 per cent to 2.97 per cent despite its sales falling by over 10 per cent year-on-year.

The SMMT’s September figures also show industry sales to be down by 21.2 per cent year-on-year, with several manufacturers (including Hyundai and Toyota) experiencing a similar fall in sales but an increase in market share

Increases in the price of fuel and road tax has prompted many car owners to downsize, with the new 500 proving a popular choice. A total of 3624 Fiat 500s were sold throughout September, over one third of the firm’s total sales of 9818 for the month.

jug i think it depends where you live with the 500's... iv seen 20+ at least, i see 4 on my way to work, theres 2 owned by a driving instructor near me, 2 for an estate agent and then seen a few iv not seen again, and saw one today with a red stripe iv not seen before, quite a few concidering they aint been out long.
