I had to vote neither as I think you should get an HGT and keep the lovely looks.

By all means if you can insure the Coop then do it but as for the Stilo? The BOO boys will know this all too well but I think the Stilo is a shed on wheels in the looks department. It looks like they took a Bravo and shaved the curves off with a cheese wire. :( The 3-door has grown on me a little (like a cyst!) but the 5-door is ugly enough to make a baby cry. This is a bit harsh I know but I think my dissapointment that there wasn't a Bravo II is showing.

I've recently had to use a couple of 5-doors as a hire car for a week (1.2 active? one of which had done just 900 miles) and half the trim was falling off already. I was really looking forward to it and really treid to like the car but alas, no. Personally, I think the Stilo is a step back from the bravo in terms of: -

Build quality;
Looks (They have Gremanicised it!:();
Comfort (I didn't get on too well with the seats).

It is, however an improvement in terms of: -

Refinemnet;
Toys;
and i like the door trims as they have a slot that fits a 500ml bottle of Diet Coke perfectly! ;).

Sorry Stilo guys but I am gutted with the Stilo. Fiat have generally been good at builing genuinely attractive cars (some stunning) but the build quality has been lacking a little. With the Stilo they have tried to fool people into thinking Fiat have sorted their build quality by making the car look German. :(

Shame. So much potential.

i know the stilo isnt a touch on the bravo - but all the toys have drawn me to it - they should have kept the looks of the bravo/a and just improved the interior or just made the stilo a new model with out getting rid of the bravo/a

and the 2.4 is amazingly fast - so thats drawn me to it too - but i dont want to stick to the same car - if i had my way i would keep the bravo too but that is very doubtful.

i want the coupe because is is a sporty car - the downfall is it is getting on a bit but still a totally ace car.

Ozric Al everything you say there is true. Yes it's a very nice car on the inside and under the bonnet but sadly it's very lacking in the looks department. You can kind of see the Bravo underneath the 3door even if it has removed any of the looks but how can you compare a 5door Stilo to a Brava? How could they replace such a beautiful car with something so clunky? :(

I voted for the Coupe.

You obviously want a fairly rapid car for your next one and the Stilo certainly ain't that! *ahem* No disrespect to Stilo owners *ahem*

Is it?!
I know 0-60 figures aren't really worth a great deal, but what's the book 0-60 on one of those then??
I was under the impression they were about 8.5 secs which let's be fair isn't exactly a supersonic jet!

but i dont want another bravo - like i got rid of the punto coz i didnt want another punto!

i do love the styling of a bravo ect but i aint getting another one - thats just silly - if i can keep this one aswell i will but i am not selling one to get another - end of! :)

Naaah, not silly at all. If it's a good car there's nothing wrong with trading up to a newer / faster / better equipped model of what you've got. I've got 2 cinquecentos, but then again, I am teetering on the brink of insanity! (or was that unsanitary?)
