CentoEvo I am thinking about tinting all my windows (apart from the windscreen of course.
did you do it yourself with film, or did you have it fitted.
I might get the film from http://www.boyracersigns.co.uk/window_tints.htm

probably limo black for the rear windows and the lightest one for the fronts. However I am confused about the law. It says, the front side windows must allow 75% of light through, meaning all those the films on that site are illegal, however they say the light tint is legal?????
I think I need help lol

I had mine done professionally, don't do it yourself as it is a real bastard to do cost me £150.
Regarding the law the rear three windows i.e the back window and rear seat passanger windows you can have as black as you want, the side windows must let in 75% of light.
Our side windows are tinted anyway but very lightly about 5% i think, so be careful although i got away with it for 2 years!
Most windcreen/glass places do window tinting or know someone that does so try someone local to you.
I miss my front window tints now and the car now gets really really hot without them [!]

Ill have a hunt round then. Ive been told its quite hard to do it yourself with kits, but never seen a cento dun with a kit, so i thought id ask to see if you found it easy.

Really wanna get mine done soon cuz it was unbelievable today getting in my car. It had been on the carpark at work all day from 7, so as you can imagaine, a black car = very hot. Stated her up, put hand on gear knob, which is alloy, and burnt my damn palm.lol.

will probably have back windows done limo black so I can remove them stupid speaker cover I have. and then I can also fit my speakers into the rear armrests easier.

i never have a problem with heat -
A. my car isn't black
B. if you open my sunroof the heat just floods out - but then again you guys can't actually *open* your sunroofs can you?



it was great today cruised down to kwikfit to get my wheels put on, windows down, roof open - i even opened my rear windows thenthe DAMNED things didn't fit [xx(]
