I have a 1998 Fiat Marea Automatic with starting problems. Over the last few months there have been days when it won't start first thing, if you left it for 10 - 15 minutes it would then start no problem and keep going the rest of the day. Over the last 2 weeks it has got a lot worse, stopping in the middle of the day and the times are getting longer for it to start.This week it would not start for 5 hours and yesterday it would not start at all.

What engine... when last serviced

it is a 1600 engine and was last engine serviced about 7 months ago, since then it has done about 6,000 miles on the last service. It is an automatic car as well so I don't know if that makes a difference, total the car has done 60.000 miles, 1998 Marea

the service 1998 car did thay change the cambelt etc most do it be for 72000 or five years
fuel filter? plugs etc
battery still in good
