Hi All,
I'm planning a new project for the winter months and i'm going to take the turbo'ed 1400cc engine out the front of a Uno turbo and put it in the back using the metal work and structure out of a spare 1000cc uno (that i already have). I've solved quite a few problems like management, chargecooler, etc etc but i'm having a nightmare trying to work out the gearlinkages.
Has anybody carried out any conversions like this or can someone suggest a method of solving the gear change problem?
a friend of mine suggested using motorbike air shifters but i'm not sure how this would work and whether i would need a huge bottle if it was the only method of changing gear
