Super Mirafiori twin cam 1984 / oil supply / extreme angles

I have installed this engine into a speedboat. One potential problem is oil supply due to engine being permanently being 18 degrees off the horizontal (Sump end high) plus more when boat hits waves at speed. Does anyone out there use this engine on for example “Hill climb” events when similar angles would be encountered?
I am aware of “dry sumping” but don’t want to go that route for the moment.
In short: How many 18 degrees off the horizontal (Sump end high) will the oil supply system take?
I look forward to some answers based on experience
Thanks
Peter

Im a little confused. Is the engine mounted upside down? as in the sump is the highest point?

Cos, given the crankshaft lubricates by splashing oil, if theres no oil to splash, it cant be good! Cant really give any advice on that though, cos IIRC the oil pump draws off the sump.

No, sump is at the bottom but the angle of motor tends to allow oil to drain out of sump to the shallow end of sump.
Hope this helps
