Has anyone had trouble getting delivery dates out of your dealer ? I placed an order 8 weeks ago for a new Ulysse and was advised it would be 4-6weeks, 2 weeks past this deadline and they still cannot give me a delivery date. I've asked them to check on their system and they say it will only appear on the system when it has been built and is about to ship, I've told them to contact the factory they say they can't do that, I've told them to contact their Fiat rep the best they can do, they claim, is converse by fax! I am rapidly apporaching the point where I cancel the order and go elsewhere but if anyone has similar experiences and may have been able to get something done I'm keen to hear.

I was quoted 12 weeks for a new Seicento, but 10 seems to be the norm. Same problem though, they are unable or unwilling to quote ETAs

In Italy for an Ulysse, you must wait 60 days...
90 days for a Lancia Phedra (Ulysse branded Lancia...)

I've just been phoned by the dealer telling me my car is in transit (between here and Italy), and will be here before the end of the month. I ordered on the 15th of March, if thats any help.

seanjones,

your seicento probably is in transit between UK and Tichy (Poland)....;)
The Seicentos aren't assembled in Italy...

Ciao

we all know what dealers are like - they will tell you anything - lets be serious aren't they just lazy used car salesmen anyway?
