Hi,

I am new here, and reading all the posts on the ipod and grande punto subject i have some questions.

I have a week old Grand Punto 1.2 Active in Bolero Red.
The radio does not have the MP3 logo printed on it just above the cd slot.
Also it does not have an aux button or something like that.
But i read here and saw some postings on ebay that you can buy from fiat part no:50901536 to connect a Ipod to it.

On the back of the head unit (i took it out) is another free connecton, just as wide as the iso connector with around 12 little pins.
The Fiat part does not come with a plug that wide but only around 1/4 that size and with only i think 4 or 5 pins.

My question is will this part fit and if yes how do i use it that as my headunit does not have a button to put it to the aux or something like that.

To get the AUX press the CD button twice....

as for a lead if you have access to a soldering iron make your own..

Thanks for that, that should not be a problem than will buy a decent lead...

I have a Grande Punto it has the windows logo in the glove box, I have tried using both Usb connectors to connect my Ipod touch but it doesn't play through the stereo. I have tried pressing the CD button twice but nothing happens is this usb not compatible with the ipod touch?

Try connecting your iPod through a Blue&Me adaptor, then it will work. Please click the following link for more details on this:
