The saga of my Pandas paint defects continues with a new twist! I bought the car in April and after a week noticed paint defects. It took till mid May before Fiat inspected the car. Yesterday I phoned the dealer to ask whens its going to be repaired and they said its been done[:0]. Apparently its all been signed off and the bodyshop have competed the paperwork too!! Unless they came and did this in my lockup then I cant see how this was done. Anyway they have said book another date.[)]s!

Your lucky you get a courtesy car...I bought my first Stilo from An Alfa/Fiat dealership and I used to get Alfa 147's as courtesy cars (very very nice) then it changed to sh*tty Arnold Clark and now I get Jack all[:(!]

I take my Punto to a dealer near work, and they give me a lift to/from where I work. Saves them a courtesy car, saves me from driving whatever they happen to have available for just a few miles.

Dealers like to remind us courtesy cars are there out of courtesy and that they don't have to provide them. But I like to remind them they are one of the reasons we pay to dealership rates, and they are an idustry standard. If we wanted back street garage service we'd go there and pocket the saving;)

My paintwork is being sorted soon too, but more about that when I have a spare half hour to start a topic describing the saga!

Good luck Nuovopanda:D

Stilo TURBO!!!!(diesel)

Hope your Stilo gets put right. Regarding loan cars, why do all the Fiat dealers Ive used demand you insure the car? When I owned my Nissan they never asked that! However, in this instance they offered to cover the cost, which is an amazing gesture!
