How much do you reckon it would cost to get the rear quarter panel resprayed on my Uno? See pic

Bear in mind its black metalic, so lacquer will be needed, etc... Im gonna get some quotes tomorrow but was just wanting some rough guides.

remember the panel extends all the way up and over the top of the front door and down to the bonnet!

unless of course u just get that area done... but anwyay...

my sister was quoted £120 to have the same panel on her 106 sprayed after an accident with a post.

I have tried to spray it myself and made a proper hash of it! I just want it put right now!!!

You've just done what would probably happen to me, thats why I leave big stuff to the Pro's, I'd agree with th £120, taking into consideration the prep work which will take longer than the actual painting.

if u lived closer i would offer to do it for you (or atleast try before you spent money on a body shop doin it!)... i do all my spraying and its not too bad neither

My insurance is due soon so thats gonna make me skint anyway, looks like ill have to pay for this out of my student loan ! (one of the advantages of being a student)

as for prices i reckon somewhere round the £150 mark, it really depends on the prep work and a decent place can feather in the paint instead off doing the hole section, but most times its easy just to spray the hole lot

hi mate, go to Nixons Accident Repair Center in Broadheath nr Altrincham, Atlantic Street (at the bottom) tell him Chris with the sky blue punto sent u (for a cash job) and ask for a guy called Shuff

i had a big repair done by them (cash) repair all o/s/r 1/4 panel due to some one falling into it, full front wing and full repair to passenger door that some scroats made a mess on bending it back. he also took all the dents out of my drivers door to and resprayed the lot and it only cost £350.

id use them again.[8D]

Ive got it booked in to Auto Body Care in Flixton now, my mate had a respray there and they made a quality job of it.

They wanted £140 and there gonna blend it into the door so its seamless, im fairly happy with that price.

Punto chris, are you the guy with the sky blue mk1 punto with 5-spokes that i sometimes see in Urmston?

Just got my Uno back from the bodyshop, theyve done an excellent job!
