If you had used this forum and noticed all of the reoccuring faults that Fiats have, would you have still bought a Fiat?
I'm not sure if I would!
I know they can be fun, (great handling on the brava) but just look; page after page of problems. I recon I'll get a good slagging off about saying this, but at least I have sold my Brava now!

Pick a car, any car, and check out a few of its forums. Looking at some of them makes Fiats appear quite reliable.

Its human nature to moan...but I really enjoy my motor:D

yea all cars are the same this is my first fiat had my stilo now for 2 days, been reading the posts about faults and im thinking have i brought a dead duck? but haveing owned a v6 mondeo :D and the problems i had with that i dont think i have now.

Compared to my friends and parents cars mine is very reliable although it hasn't does much mileage for things to go wrong yet. I am also extremely impressed with my car for it's abilities especially considering the engine size, Fiat have done well there.

Im now on my 2nd Cinq. The 1108cc FIRE unit is less reliable than the 899cc OHV thing, but its faster!:D

I hate my car when its dead (as of last weekend), but its great when its alive!

Dave, Chavson killed the white one? how dead is killed? full on write off or just mechanical death?

right off bent all the front, it was night before last in all the rain,
first, half hour after i warned him the roads were bad he phones to say he had hit a deep puddle and it sucked hin into kerb and he had poped 2 tyres, total bull when i got there there was no big puddle just a mini roundabout with a thick metal ting you have to go around it, he went straight over with car full off mates fuc'ed 2 tyres and 2 15" alloys drivers side i gave him 2 13" sreels to get home with told him not to do more than 25mph and go straigh home after dropping girl off, coz off diffrent size wheels, hours later he was not home, then about 2an got a phone call he says i've crashed the car, i ask is every body ok he says yes i was on my own, says i was only doing 30mph, total bull again he had tried taking a corner at speed with odd wheels went up kerb hits and flaterns street name sign and fence behind it,no way was he driving slow, police come no charges, old man who lives in the flat did not wake up, i took chavson back the next day to say sorry and offer to repair damage, old man says its a council flat and they where already told, so there will be an insurance claim, so we are going to claim for car aswell lucky its fully comp book price is a lot more than i paid for it,

Good Point there Steve C, but I'm sure Dave won't let him off lightly, just tell him it's not a Scooby or Evo he's driving and they won't bomb round corners and bends without something going amiss.

Hope he isn't a named driver on your policy Dave?

Liam

**** happens!

no he has his own policy, thing is if he has no car he cant get to work its miles away, even if it was a scooby or evo it still would crash if you drove too fast with 15"s on the left and 13"s on the right.
