Saw a new Fiorino yesterday for the first time. It was on the road and not at a dealer, so there's been at least one sold in Belgium already.

From what I've read recently, the Fiorino (and it's French sisters) is built on the Grande Punto platform in Turkey. Only the Fiat version has the 1.3 JTD with 75 HP. The others have to be content with a PSA/Ford 1.4 HDI with 68 HP. I didn't notice if the petrol engines were the same across the board.

Only Fiat will have a fancy car version of the Fiorino, which follows later on. The PSA twins and Fiat will get a basic Combi version with a window in the rear side doors. The Fiorino Panorama will also get side windows behind the side doors and maybe a glass sunroof as well.

Basic interior volume is 2.5 cubic meters but you can have 2.8 with the front passenger seat folded flat. Not that different to the original Kangoo.

the Fiorino is probably a bit better looking than the Nemo and Bipper too.

i dont think the MPV version is needed, nor do i think it will sell very well, because there are plenty of good vehicles in the MPV sector.

Fiat has already revealed its upcoming small van, the Fiorino, and now comes its passenger-carrying equivalent.

The Fiorino mini-MPV is compact - 3.86m long - but can carry five people. It will have six different seating configurations to allow for cargo-carrying, and will come with engines including the 1.3 Multijet diesel and a 1.4 petrol. An automatic gearbox will be optional.

The Fiorino was co-developed alongside the Peugeot Bipper and Citroen Nemo vans from the Fiat Panda's underpinnings.

All three models will be built in Turkey, and passenger-carrying versions of both the Nemo and Bipper are expected to follow.

I'm a bit shallow I'm afraid.

I decry modern Peugeots for their ridiculous guppy-fish mouths, yet I quite like the Fiorino. "A face only it's mother could love", a bit like the Multipla. Yep, I reckon I could forgive FIAT just about anything...

What a hypocrite :p

The Fiorino does not replace anything in the Fiat line and the French cousins do not replace anything in thier lines. These are additions to the manufacturer's range in each case. The Doblo will continue as is and so will the Partner and Berlingo.

A Belgian friend is really interested in a Panorama SX, which will be out here during June. She wants it to carry her bicycle out to places where she can ride it in the countryside. The Combi and Panorama pricelist is already on the Fiat.be site but the info is only for the cargo version at the moment.

It's probably a bit bigger than you realize. The interior cargo volume behind the front seats is 2.5 cubic meters. The original Kangoo had 2.8, so not that much more. I wonder if they will do a stretched version a little later that would go up to about 3.0?

Glad that there is an auto model I think this is a first for a small MPV. I would be grateful for any reliablity views, issues with it.
