Hi Im new poster here, I have been working on a project posting my Fiat & other italian lit collection online. The FLU & Chris Layton have posted it & a big thanks to them.

this is a work in progress & many more stuff to follow so check often.

I have some alfa/ iso/ferrari/lambo/detamaso & other stuff that will be posted soon

unfortunately I have a little scanner so some of the bigger fiat stuff I cannot scan in color. I also have some lancia blue prints of the zagato & fulvia cpe & sedan that are 4 feet or so. If someone in atlanta area has that capability I will gladly share.

My aunt was a secretary @ brown university when Mark Donaghue was there, she wrote letters for me to all the chambers of commerce in the world getting me all the addresses of every manufacturer. I wrote them in 1970 & got responses from almost all (except ferrari) they kept coming until around 1975 or 1976. I was 10 when I wrote the letters.

I hope you all enjoy

you can find it @

I must admit I've got hundreds of old brochures in my attic, but none showing cars as unique or exotic as Giannini, Iso or Moretti. I remember quite a lot of the Americanised FIATs from my youth when, I have to confess, I developed an attraction to U.S. cars and bought Car and Driver, Car Craft and Road & Track whenever I could.
I have a personal belief that the styling of American cars took a definite turn for the worse in the mid '70s when the Camaro and Firebird suddenly developed leant back fronts and bumpers took on the size of steel girders. You could get away with them on a Caprice or Buick 88, but on a 128, they sadly, look ridiculous.
As for the Morettis, it's interesting how the front of the 124 based car looks so similar to the FIAT Dino Spider and the 850 has a look of the Ferrari Dino 206/246. The man was obviously a fan of Pinin Farina.
As for the Iso, if I wanted a Camaro or Corvette during the day, then the Iso Grifo was the car of my nights.
Thank you for sharing your collection with us.

I agree with your thoughts about the 70's american cars. It was one was of the lowest points not only for styling but for performance too.

I have many more to be posted , it should be updated this week.
I have been storing this stuff for years & brought it out for a local italian car day a few weeks ago & many said they have never seen some of it before.

There's too much for me to take in at 02:11 in the morning so I've added it to my favourites so I can see them all when my brain is fully functioning. Oh, She Who Must Be Obeyed wants to know how long she'll have to wait for that to happen. Don't hold your breath Dear.
Unfortunately, the stuff I have in the attic is far less focused than your collection so is more eclectic but far less comprehensive.

I've a different 131 and (I think) a 132 brochure upstairs; if you're interested in I can scan and send it to you.

By the way, when I used your search box for 131, I got some very er, 'interesting' links thanks to Google... :nono:
