I have a brand new 1.4 t-jet sporting on order but i want a dump valve to be fitted but does anyone know where a decent place to go to get this done in Newcastle?

You will void the warranty and strictly speaking it is not legal anymore.

Suggestion:..... Record the sound of a dump valve opening and closing onto a CD, then play it in the car very loudly whilst driving round with your windows open

fit it yourself, it really is very easy. alternatively take it to a back street garage, i'm sure they'll fit it for you while you wait, shouldnt cost more than £20.

No i think the tjet is asking where can he find one not how can i he fit one but it does not matter i have passed the information on.

This has been discussed to death in the Grande Punto thread and everyone with relative intellegance wouldn't fit one. This is a modern hi tech turbo engine not a Ford RS Turbo from the early 90's.......

I believe someone said it has an ECU controlled recirculating dump valve so if you mess with that it will mess with your wallet later when Fiat tell you to shoove your warranty where the sun don't shine .
