To meet the latest demands in urban goods transport, Fiat Professional presents the new Fiorino, the newest addition to its new-look range that is expected to achieve great things over the next few years.

Developed from a joint venture between Fiat and PSA, this original commercial vehicle is produced at the Tofas plant in Bursa, Turkey, and will be sold in 80 countries worldwide from the end of this year. It has now been presented in the cargo version, while the passenger versions will also be launched next year.

I agree with others re. the front bumper to add to the comments - looks a bit like Bruceie's chin!

I was thinking Jimmy Hill:D

Even colour coding the bumper wouldn't help IMO, the shape is totally wrong.
Imagine the problems you'd have with getting in & out of parking spaces, most cars are bad enough because of the front shape but how the heck do you guage this? I reckon you'd need a couple of those mini whips to mark the corners.

The small van is being jointly developed with PSA Peugeot Citron under the code name Minicargo and will be marketed as a smaller, less expensive companion to the Fiat Doblo. Eventually, it could be built and sold in various markets around the world, including China, India and Latin America.
Equipped with a choice of four-cylinder gas and diesel engines, the Fiorino will compete with the next-generation Renault Kangoo, which is scheduled to reach European dealers in late spring. What this means to you: European carmakers continue to introduce innovative small vehicles that might eventually find a second home in North America if fuel pricescontinue to rise.

I think the orange and black is pretty cool. Of course if you wanted a monochrome treatment, it wouldn't be a big deal to have all the black bits painted body colour.

If the bumper didn't stick that far out, the hood/bonnet would be extended. I think it's for pedestrian protection.

I could see the PSA influence in the photo of the green van. Look at the lower window line. Straight from Citroen.

Personally, I prefer the Scudo, but I can see some resemblances between them.

I like it :D
but it looks alot smaller than a Doblo, but then it's going to be built along side the Doblo.. is it?
What puts me off is it's not a 'proper' Fiat, it's another PSA jobbie. The Doblo is obviously built to compete against the Kangoo, Partner and Berlingo but it's all Fiat and IMO, far superior.
This new beastie is just going to be a cut price version of the Peugeot/Citroen.

I like it,I like competition keeps the price down, I like low taxation class 50+ mpg Pracitcality, lets hope for low insurance grouping, a reliable automatic and big enough space to be useful. I think you will fing this is a first to market a small van based automatic and would to hear reliability feed back on it. as for front bumper if you cannot judge the length and width for that matter STOP driving..

Realibility?, the car was designed to be reliable (uses many parts from the FIat range, easy to repair (Fiat kept it simple) and I haven't heard of any reliability issues to date. Good to drive aswell.

They need to put a real motor in it. The current 1.4 Qubo takes a breathtaking ...33 seconds...to to from 50 to 75 MPH in 5th. Maybe the 1.4/100 HP petrol, the 1.3/90 HP JTD and...wait for it...the 1.6/105 and 120 JTD. I rather like the Fiorino/Qubo and I'll be looking for a new car next year, but the way it is now it will not make my shortlist.
