Hi,

Got a problem with my Brava. When driving, the car is OK, but as soon as the car is "idling" eg at traffic lights, the oil pressure light comes on and there is a smell of oil burning. Any idea what the problem is? Oh and yes there is plenty of oil in the car and no leaks that I can see.

most likely is your oil pump isnt working well enough to keep oil pressure at low revs

Expensive to repair?

Just had it in at the Fiat garage for a new fuel injector. £350

got a haynes manual? look in there and you will see its not a huge job,its just depends on the engine design as too how awkward it is to do.on some cars it can be done with the engine in situ whereas on some you have to take the engine out.
