I am so cheesed off I have had my new Punto Active Sport ONE MONTH!!!! not crashed in my 7 yrs in driving and I did the stupidest of things!!
Tryed to get down a narrow drive, was concentrating on not missing the wall ahead of me but scratched the rear quarter on the other wall. Had to get the car lifted away from the wall so not to cause further damage!!!!! So cheesed of to say the least.
Decided not to claim on my insurance as I have 5yrs no claims, and getting it repaired by someone other than Fiat. Does anyone know whether this will have a major impact on my warranty???

wont affect your main warranty but may effect the corrosion part.

don't tell fiat, if they notice do what they do and say you know nothing about it, then kick up a stink saying it must have been repaired before you bought it.
Are you sure your no claims is not protected, usaly if you have 5 years it gets protected.

it might not even be worth risking your protection tho, if something major happens you might need to use the insurance.....

I think im probably just gonna get it repaired outside of fiat, had a quote for around £250-£300 and its bound to get more scratches that will need repairing in the years to come which wont be covered by the anti corrosion warranty. Will defo get the protected claims when i renew in July tho. At least it was a wall and not another car!! Doh!! Hopefully fiat wont notice when i take it for a 1 yr service!!

dont worry Fiat wont notice that, especially if you get a good bodyshop to fix it.

250-300 quid sounds about right to me- thats wat i got quoted for mine. its a good job the whole quarter panel doesnt need replacing this comes to around 1000 quid!! its a big job (apparently)
Go to a FIAT approved bodyshop and that shudnt be a problem......
