I found a crate filled with early-to-mid 60s magazines while doing some maintenance on my wife grannys weekend chalet.
They were issued by Ministry of Defense and those dating 1961 - 1963 are thus loaded with extremely juicy pieces of Communist propaganda :D. Unfortunately, the "juiciest" issues informing about Cuban Missile Crisis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuban_Missile_Crisis) are missing.

But the point is:
A front page of a 1967 issue is showing an Abarth car the type of which i do not know. The photo was taken at some unspecified motor show. The article does not mention the type. This link: http://www.negri.it/abarth/30.htm seems to show the car with "Fiat Abarth 1000" designation. However, other pages suggest that "Abarth 1000" was tuned Fiat 500.

Can someone shed some light on this car, possibly suggest a link with more information?

Looks possibly like a Simca Abarth to me, not too sure from that shot though...
