Coming back from my girlfriends last night, it's snowing real heavy and roads are very poor so I'm taking it steady.

Get to a section where there are speed cameras and WTF??!?!? One just flashed me!!!! I was doing 15mph tops!!

I looked in my rear view and it was still flashing  so it's obviously gone mad (maybe snow blind?), I'll be pissed if I get a ticket through the post

I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as you're confident that you were under the speed limit. Speed cameras are known to be faulty and do unusual things.. a lot of drivers here being snapped often get away with it because its simply inaccurate.

unless it shows you doiing 36mph and only took one 'set'
if it took 8sets of you doing 36mph and in every one you had hardly moved then I don't think there will be a problem.
i've tried getting flashed on my bike, but it won't trigger it. so surprised snow does it:confused:

if there is snow on the groundand the camera cant see the white lines painted on the road can they still work properly ??? surely they need to be able to see the white lines ?? if not whats point of painting them. and i dont mean the one down the middle of teh road lol

The camera works on Radar. The lines are only there to confirm the distance travelled between photos (as speed = distance / time.)

true,. i saw a program on tv where they were tryin to fool the camera's and it does need the lines,. some camera's dont need them to detect you but without the lines as proof the picture isnt admissable in court coz the camera could have glitched:devil: ,.,.
white paint anyone?
