Hey All

Im after some advice, I will be re-fitting the Seicentos standard interior over the next couple of days, and then fitting a childs car seat to the rear.

As the rear seats are mint (never been sat on!) I'd obiously like to keep them that way as much as poss.

What I'm after is some rear seat protector mats/covers to place under the baby seat. As im sure that the baby seat will mark/leave dents in the Seicentos seat.

Ive seen a couple but unsure which to purchase and weather they will fit/function well

Has anyone fitted anything like this? or has anyone any recommendations on the best brand to buy?

cheers Emma :)

Tee hee, your car will be covered in broken crisps, crumbs from bits of bread you hand the little monster to keep quiet and spat out stuff and drool.

They make as much mess as a dog, they just don't lose as much hair and don't clean up after themselves by religiously eating crumbs off the floor. Actually they will, but parents tend to stop them.:D

Yeah i agree, my poor car has become subject to sticky lollipop sticks welded down the side of the seats, crumbs aplenty, spilt drinks, i could go on. And the car seats? don't get me started. I'm sure there's a colony beginning to grow in one of them:D

in this day and age you can buy anything. but thats not a good reason to buy it. long before seat protectors existed people managed. why buy seat protectors when you can use towels instead. they're far cheaper, and its easier to get a colour that matches your interior, and they're easy to wash, and you can add a binbag under the towels to make them water proof, and you can even have as many layers as you want to add more protection, and other passengers can sit on towels comfortably if need be. you know it makes sense.
