mary poppins lol

good choice on aliens though. i have them on normal dvd and also in the quadrilogy box set.

Scary Movie :p :D

On a serious note, gotta be:

1. Eraserhead (only film to ever make me feel physically sick!)
2. The Exorcist (brilliant film (y) (y) (y) )

I know you wanted two, but here's two more of my favourite horror flicks:

3. The Wickerman (the original, not the remake)
4. The Black Room (very, very old Boris Karloff film - creeeeeeeeepy!)

the orriginal "fog" is brilliance the new lone does not exist in my vocabulary of horror movies.

as for IT i have not yet seen it not think. I'll have to watch it.

Nightmare on Elm street is a cracking movie. And a few of the Friday the 13ths are good.

as for the shinning your right that is a smashing movie might watch that tonight.

my dvd collection is either action or horror

'IT' is good, another clasic from Stephen King, but the 'Shining' really takes off especially with Stanley Kubrick's influence - now he was wierd.....

Think i'll have to watch the 'shining' again. Not seen it for years........

saw it (the shinning) for the first time a couple of weeks ago. all i cans say is no wander he goes mental.

the lady is so annoying and the kid talking to his finger all the time thats enough to drive anyone over the edge

I see Stephen King's "IT" gets a few mentions. I thought the build up was great, but the conclusion was nonsense! What did that big spider thing in a cave have to do with Tim Curry's mad clown and balloons????

If it's going to Stephen King, then two films are definitely at the very top:

CARRIE & CHRISTINE! :slayer:

I thought the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty good when it came out.

Saw is good when you think that someone sat there and came up with that plot.

IT and Childs play etc were good in there day aswell.

That dawn of the dead was on last night gave that a watch but it had a crap ending.

Yep, Texas Chainsaw (re-make) and Saw are both pretty good.

Couple of my more recent favourites are 'Creep' and 'Descent'.

just brought the amityville horror on dvd seen the orriginal going to watch the remake that i have brought later.

hope its half as good as the orriginal

Halloween is the best series, no question. I got the first one for £3.99 last week! And scared the girlfriend with it tonight (y) :D She hated it.

Also like The Grudge 2. Made my spine tingle a few times (girlfriend hated this one aswell) but i've spoken to others who thought it was crap  I'll be having it when its out on DVD anyway.
