she probably wanted to check it was working first before she handed it in, if it was dud theres no point handing it in ;)



The beach near me at home in cumbria ALWAYS has the bomb desposal squad lingering someplace.

its a 'decoy' beach for the nearby ammuinictions factorys and the airfield/severla airfields a mile or so to the north.
so there are literally dozens or more unexploed WWII bombs lying in the sand, and half spent munitions from later testing and firing ranges, one dog walker even uncovered a WWII rifle.

Same abit further up where I am,loads phrosphus bombs on the beaches :rolleyes:

Yes, I often see the bomb squad vans come sailing past on my way to work and back :cool:
