water intoxication eh.

bit like alchohol posiioning (i.e where there is more alchohol in the blood then blood?), only with water in the blood instead of blood = severe lack of neutriants and then lack of oxygen and then a slow bloated death??

certainly not worth that for a freaking nintendo (which will be hard to get games for in 18months time, the customer service centre will be either overloaded or closed down for good, the controllers will cost £80+ each to replace and the wires regulary fall out of them, the games are always £30 no matter how old and obselete they are.........

....anything else????

sony all the way, may not be the best product but they certainly have the £££ to keep it rolling into our shops, why do you think we got VHS and not betamax or laserdisc (a 24bit version of DVD, which is only a piffling 16bit)

And is that same reason why we all use minidiscs to listen to music and watch UMD films? Thought not.

I don't quite understand your attack of the Wii, why is all that the case? I don't know much about consoles but I know the Wii is doing well, as is Nintendo as a whole. I thought the Wii controllers were wireless, so how do wires drop out of them?

just referring to past nintendo's.

I.e after its been on the market for 18months+ they start on a new console and the games are not as easy to get as they used to be (n)

In that case your Fiat rusted away 5 years ago...

Few companies I can think of don't start on their next big product soon after the launch of their last one, because most of them go out of business.

Controllers are around £30 ATM or even £35 with a full game so where did £80 come from

You have to feel for the womans family, she obviously didn't have a lot of money and was doing what she thought was a harmless contest to try to win something for them. If she thought there was a possibility she'd die from it I doubt she'd have done it.

Erm, Sony were behind Betamax and that was one of their biggest blunders. JVC and Philips were behind VHS and they won the video format war ;)

And as for that woman - I guess water intoxication is 'death by osmosis'!
