and select the green colour, you will be able to get a nearly 2k laptop for 1k! Alienware are well liked in the world! It is obviously a pricing mistake but if you are going to buy a laptop anyway, trust me opinion that these are good laptops. Maybe give it a try, although it is a mistake, you might get something out of it!?!

Disclaimer: please don't hold it against me if you do go for it and it doesn't work out. I have to say I have contacted them to warn them so you won't have long...I warned them because I have a conscience but know you guys might want to know!

GO to there, click CYBORG GREEN as colour, for some reason it is stated as knocking off 650!

You end up getting it, all VAT in, inc. postage at £920!!! Including everything and a free 256mb flash disk

Amazing deal but unlikely to carry through when they sort it out but worth a try - no risk because they can't charge you the real price.

So, make sure you click the green colour.

I use whatlaptop forums sometimes and a few people have found it and have bought one, hope you guys get some luck out of it if you decide it's for you. Hate the green, haven't tried the blue. As I understand it, I think those colours should require a high cost premium, not save you 700!

Everyone I know in the business for a laptop is asleep now so it's no good giving them a try. If it works, my gf wil slaughter me tomorrow when I tell her, she has one (the same one as me) on order from Aldi (the Gericom nice spec one). This one will cost little extra but have the alien ware brand which is VERY good with upgradable graphic cards etc.

It's a £650 saving so you get a very very good laptop for the price of a normal laptop. I wish I could have a go at it and then sell it on for a few hundred profit! - Alienware machines get a massive premium for being alienware. I doubt it would follow through but with many of these cases of badly updated databases on websites like this, the buyers have got something out of it! It is cheeky but most business is and they make enough profit I am sure.

I will be so jealous if I find someone got one at the cheap price and it all went through properly - it would be pretty much no-risk profit if it does work!

i would go for it ASAP, most people say the 9600.. I think that is on there right, if not, the 9700. Be quick, they will realise their error and alter it ASAP. Unlikely you will get it at that price but worth a try.

People say stay away from the Nvida cards in laptops (although mine is very good IMO), the ATI are well liked.

Best of luck, be quick! Remember you are unlikely to get it for that price though, they might let you though!

You told them? You tout! There was a while back where Kodak had cameras listed incorrectly on their website. Dozens of people bought them and following legal action got them at the wrong price.

I know, I know, but I hoped they might be nice to me if I had told them as early as I knew. I told you lot at the same time. They would have worked it out anyway and until confirmed through email/phone, you have no legal rights really.

With Kodak, Argos etc. who have all made mistakes, they did end up doing very good deals to apologise which I think they might do on this occasion. Somebody also warned them from whatlaptop.co.uk. I felt it fair to tell you guys incase you can get anything out of it.

I was trying to be selfish and get something out of it like everyone else lol.
