Wasnt busy the other day so decided to look around for a new car. Finishing uni this year so thought I should start to look for a new car to replace the sei. Looking for a sporty hatchback as im used to the sporty design features of my sporting. My list down came to:
Mini Cooper 1.6
Great looking car, instant classic. My only prolbem with this is that im after extras like air conditioning and alloy wheels. Once you start to add these, the price rockets. Not sure what sort of wage I will be on when I leave uni so dont want to go to expensive straight away.
Citroen C2 VTS 1.6 :slayer:
All the extras that I had to pay extra for on all the other cars are included on this, such as aircon and 16" alloy wheels. Sporty looks. Fancied the Saxo VTS last year but had problems with the Sei, otherwise I would have one now. Low insurance group.
VW Polo GTI
Not sure as it has an ageing look for me, still similar to the shape ten years ago. Great quality but again pay a lot extra for extras.
Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6
Didnt like the look or feel of the car. Mini-focus, felt cheap. Boring looks.
Had a look at all the cars over the day. Most impressed with the mini, but very expensive for the equipment that I wanted. The C2 was the next best in my opinion. Spoke to normanski who also went from a Sei to the C2 he recommended the change too. Spoke to the dealer and showed him my car, he offered £1400 part exchange, I was amazed but definatly not complaining about that. Gonna wait until spring as I will have a better picture of what I will be earning. I love the Sei but the engine just doesnt have enough poke if you know what I mean. Im also sick of having a dodgy handbrake and worrying about the clutch cable. So think im going to go for the C2 VTS
Been visiting this site to find out more info about the C2
