now, im a little confused with this! lol

but what can you have on a car? cos i know its something about years and something, and certain number plates cant go on certain year cars?

and what does it cost? i really dont know, iv looked and it all seems very confusing!

just think a private number plate would look  :p

If prefixed with a letter it can't be a newer letter than your current plate, but can be older. They start around £250 and go up to as much as you like. Check the DVLA plates site and you can make your own and it gives you a price I think.

you can get the cheapy bargain plates for £80 (plus £80 transfer fee) in the back of the autotrader if you want a cheap one. they're usually things like OIL3481 or BAZ1766, but they're cheap. if you go on the DVLA reg site its the cheapest place to get non-bargain plates, where you can make your own up. millions of other companies offer the same servie but none are as cheap as dvla because its dvla who issue the reg no matter which company you use. £250 will usually get you what you want, i'm getting mine as soon as i have a car worthy of a private plate, sticking one on a shatty fiat just makes you look like you're trying to hide the car's age, just like every asian who owns and old bmw/merc, which is a bit gay and pointless and just another excuse to waste money (yes we've noticed your obsession with wasting money you dont have :p).

H2YPR
H5YPR

only cost us £250 each from dvla, now all we need is the full run, wantin H6YPR for the bike, we got an xmas card from a neighbour we dont know, adressed to hyper 1 and hyper 2 lol!!

yeah get a private plate but make sure is actually says something,. i hate those ones that are like P84 YTW coz the first letter is the first initial of thier cats name and the number is the year they were born,n the next letter is the ex gf's iniital etc etc lol"

He he and old bloke (god squad with the fish on the boot lid) pulls up outside the garage in an old 4+4 SIEERRRAA!!, stood there staring at it as he came over and i thought it looks like a private plate, J??ANT, I piped up, is it a private reg mate, he replied i bet your called ant, so anyway i offered to purchase it from him and he accepted my offer of £200 there and then and currently in the process of sticking it on my golf mk2, i'm pleased as on the reg markets the cheapest is a bag of sand Ho ho ho!! some times god shines on us all Ant!
