Well it is a Focus after all....But does seem too good to be true!

missing history, missing keys, might not have been serviced if they didnt have money to pay finance then did they have money to service it

ahh thats true, good point, so who would buy a repo car then?

possibly though there can be many reasons for repossesion,not always they dont have the cash just decide to pay something else,dispute with garage etc

If they didn't have the money then they may have decided to 'drive it like its stolen'.

general consensus is this is best avoided im guessing then?

If its for you, then theres no harm ringing up, going to see it and asking a few questions about it

if its cheap enough then worth a look at least

Could always ask, the seller may be honest about it. Though if you don't have a satisfactory answer and can't be bothered getting it physically and HPI checked, then yes, avoid.

could be worth a call i guess, other problem im thinking of now is when i come to sell it it could be a pain to get rid of or not?

doubt it would be a problem as once its sold it SHOULD be HP clear.something to check but upon sale i assume finance on the car is clear and any remaining debt goes to the person who took out the HP.
obviously this isnt how it usually works with outstanding finance but if its a repo then its being sold by the finance company who technically own the car

so i need to phone they chap selling it, go and look at it and get a HPI check?? sorry for sounding thick but dont wanna get stung!

Yep best to get that done, or go get a vehicle check done by the AA or something. Best to be sure.....ah to be sure!

Autos are crap, have poor resale value especially smaller engine ones, its 18 month older and i bet it had done more miles than that

autos sell for quite a bit more actually, it had 31k on too with full mot and 10 month tax
