or
b) Down the local boozer

if i was still single it would be the Tidy New Year Weekender 30th/31st/1st @ Pontins in Blackpool, easily going to be the maddest new year party on the planet.

but im not going because i have responsibilties, commitments, and all the other great things that other people include. :(

so i'll probably have an early night instead. no seriously i will.

I'm a bit disappointed with christmas and new year this time round :(

Plans are usually made by the end of October, but plans are yet to be made this year  A lot of my friends have either moved away to go to uni or work in the forces, so meeting up over christmas is usually a big deal, looks like quite a few are suspiciously quiet this year, probably spending the holiday with their girlfriends...

Looks like me and MrsDT will be out for a quiet drink christmas eve, and god knows what we'll be doing new years eve :(

I'm working, doing a gig in Scarborough, for the Rotary Club. Should be a good night. Last time we played for them (in September), it was a huge turnout.

And the setting was gorgeous. The bandstand was right on the beach. We had the sea to our backs, and it was out of this world. New Years Eve should be magical!

It's a shame, as this year I shall be alone for the first time (ie not with anyone special).

Plus it is my baby girls 4th birthday on January 1st and her mother refuses to let her see me - her mother has turned out to be pretty nasty. The midnight gongs will not be such a pleasant time for me :(

 Not much this year I'm sorry to say. I'd have to travel 4,000 miles to get to my works party

We took the kids to the Bournemouth Panto last night though and that was excellent (y)
