DAB Radio

not for the car for the house.

just woundering if anyone knows much about it really, im looking to buy a radio but do you plug like a tv ariel in or what? cause im fed up of my footie team only being on the radio and i dont get them stations of an FM.

There's a lot of digital stations on digital tv, is the one you're looking for on there? Can sounds pretty good as well with some good speakers/ sub

i need radio city96.7 & dee 106 which are on dab in my area but not digital tv sadly.

Did you know a DAB radio uses up to 40x (IIRC) more energy than an anologue one?

they dont need a special aerial. i've seen them with a standard telescopic aerial and they work fine. but be warned, the choice will mean you spend more time changing channels than listneing to music.
