Has anyone ever used an insurance company to insure a car for a few days? If so, who did you use?

i just use the one i am insured with then add a car to policy, direct line, if you buy car off ebay you get 7 days free with nud, if the offer is still on

Same here, I add a car to my policy for a week or whatever, can still choose a different level of cover etc. Or check your details, can you drive the car third party using your own insurance?

Have done it once or twice with CIS (Co-op Insurance). They are pretty good, but perhaps maybe not that competitive.

I have used day insure a few times when fetching back high end/high insurance group cars. max charge is £22 I think. so I can drive just abou anything for a day for £22, £11 for a punto etc.
it was the only way I could fetch my scimmitar + turbo volvo home.

I insure the tipo on my Marea policy as a temp car. Costs me about £15 for 2 weeks. If only taxing it was as simple.

What companys?
