Hi :wave: i'm having problems with my ISP! it disconnects at least once every hour, the router is only 2 weeks old (D-link) and everything is set up fine because my old ISP was fine. anyone else having problems? because IMO Talk-Talk are SH*T

Glad you brought that one up. I am in the process of changing from BT to talk talk INTERNET. Been waiting 6 weeks for my router, and still no sign of it arriving. I have got two weeks left on my BT contract, then its plug pulled time till talk talk get there act together.

All i have had is some call center from Pakistan telling me my router has been ordered, and is due for delivery. They keep coming up with delivery dates but nothing ever happens. It costs me to phone their Broadband line too. I have asked for recompense for my troubles, but the people i have spoke to suddenly loose all ability to understand English.
They obviously don't give a toss about customers.

I went to join talk talk then cancelled.

I got a router yesterday, so hoping that they dont try and change me from the company i'm happy with at present.

Heard so much bad press about them, pleased I havent (hopefully) swapped.

talktalk is so popular that the waiting list is lloonngg. my account switched to talktalk on 1th sept, and i'm still waiting to "go live" with broadband. my first go live date was early october, then late october, then yesterday, but i still havent got broadband. its not their fault they cant cope, just wait a few months. i know people who have the same problem with pipex, homecall, toucan, vigin and orange (many problems are due to BT slowing things down on purpose). the BT wait isnt as long, but it costs more, same with tiscali. if you're poor and patient you just have to get on with it. if you're rich and impatient go with BT.

well it may be technical difficulties or maybe because i have just tranferred, i must admit the download speeds are much much quicker than plusnet. and it's up to my mam who the net is with lol so i dont mind, i think we get it free along with so much for a phone package (free calls 24/7 even national)
