The other half is currently watchin 5th Gear, they are giving away a VW Golf GT as a prize.... Vikki Butler Henderson driving it around, looks ok. Very Next feature is testing different speeds to go over speed humps (sleeping policemen) so what are they using at 15mph 30mph 45mph and then 60mph? Yup the PRIZE!!!! lmao - do you want it now??

If I were to enter and win, I'd want the DSG box and in blue with 5 doors. I hope Fiat develop a Supercharger-Turbo engine...

Lets see how long these dual-compressor engines last with modern driving (lots of stops and starts) and being switched off hot taking its toll. I think its a gimick. The emissions saved won't cover the increased production emissions from the extra parts. (n) Just give it a N/A 2.0 and be done with it.

please explain?????

mk5 golf gti's are twin turbos? or one of each???

grandparents have got one, and its a bit smoother than the saab on power take up (i.e will pull from nothing, wheras saab has a bit of lag and pulls from2800rpm). but the saab tramps on it the rest of the time:)

It has a Supercharger and a Turbo Charger and both complement each others flat spots so in theory doesn't have any lag . In practise all its going to mean is expensive maintenence and repair bills......

A gymic.

I can guarentee in 3 years time they will be as reliable and problematic as the suspension on the Citroen BX and Xantia.

Matt

Ironically, I read that it was the weird hydro-pneumatic Citroen suspension fitted to the BX, Xantia (and XM, CX, DS and GS) that was about the only thing that WAS reliable and not problematic on those cars! Everything else went wrong!
