Have had the worst weekend of my life.

Yesterday morning i had a call from the hospital my mum works at telling me she had collapsed with chest pains and could i come up

Spent all day running back and forth from hospital sorting out her house, the dog, fetching stuff etc and had to put petrol in the car twice:eek: yeah we know they drink the fuel but never realised how bad till yesterday

Today mum still in hospital, i had my first few hours at work, rushed round to pick my son up from creche, my daughter from school only to get back to the car and find the local community police have started going round the schools and guess who they decided to make an example of?

And yet they still don'y know whats wrong with mum???

She seems a bit brighter today thanx, they've queried everything including collapsed lung, blood clot and mild heart attack but luckily thats all come back ok

Worst thing is not knowing what it is. She was lucky she was at work when it happened and not driving or at home alone:(

Hopefully it was one of them emtpy stomach AKA "Damn I'm hungry" collapses and some KFC will put her proper again :)

If you are bothered, go check the linage you were ticketed on and if it is not to regulation then contest it and don't pay a penny, Easiest irregulairty with the lines is if they are broken. They should be complete from start to finish on that road and fully intact at the point your vehicle was stopped.

Ahhh you see the problem is she was well within her rights to give me a ticket really.

Just outside my daughters school is a layby whereas 2 thirds is for parking and 1 third is for the buses. Well my car was parked just at the start of the bus part so i couldn't argue, she booked me for being there for 11 minutes so was a bit peeved she didn't just caution me but even so i can't argue

funny that actually my mum nearly colapsed the other weekend, think they are working them selfs too hard recently

Definitely agree with that. My mum had a heart op at the end of August but went back to work after 5 weeks. Was too soon really and she was trying to look for a second job too

Think this is her bodies way of telling her she can't do it any more

damp turn in the weather? well known that we are heading for the time of coughs and colds and that general "ill" time of year

I wish it was that simple, but after the op (an ablasion) she's still been suffering palpitation etc and kept quiet about it:(
