LOL! What a stage with the RC car. For a start I swear she said it was a HPI nitro 3 or something she was racing against. Moore races for Hotbodies, the Cyclone he won the worlds with is like a pimped out HPI at best, but still a Hotbodies. Was a brushless/lipo setup he was running like he said, no nitro power there!

A pitstop after one lap? LOL We don't do pitstops in 1/10th electric - fact. The only guys that do pit stops are the big scale and offroad nitro boys. That was just a setup to make sure VBH didn't get her ass kicked too much.

Not that anyone cares, it just got to me a bit how one of the few chances RC racing gets at being publicised on TV (which our hobby dearly needs, soaring prices for a specialist market) gets glamourised to beyond the actual representation of what we do.

yeah the RC race was a con, and yes he said it was a nitro 3......its lacking the nitro! mind you a nitro car probably wouldnt have a chance, not enough torque

This is awful. Hate the 'having a chat down the cafe' format. VBH was so beat by the HPI it was almost embaressing. Even I might have been able to beat her with my RS4!

P.S. The Mini has poo 0-60 given its supercharged and 218bhp!

We should write into 5th Gear and demand it back. It was almost painful to watch at points.

YES it was really bad, it felt like a kids program. Seems to be trying to emulate TG, shame would be nice to have a different format motoring show. The self driving Golf was cool in a bavarian knight rider type way.

The show seemed so damn amateurish it was untrue, it was almost painful to watch that blonde lovejoy ****, he hadnt got a clue what he was doing. I like the idea of coming from ACE but the execution was poooo! and as for racing a car against a plane, what if the plane would have crashed or tiff had rolled the evo, would they suspend the program? Just shows why they shouldn't bin top gear;

1) cus 5th gear is poo
2) they do dangerous things too

The only good bit is VBH
