Going on from Custard thread and sorry if it's been posted before who's had their car stolen, windows smashed? I luckily live in a good area but one guy always steals peoples stuff around here and i already threatened him if he touched my stuff i'd cut his hands off but yeah how did you manage with your stuff nicked?

ive had it done a few times, sadly you get used to it, dont get me wrong it still pisses you off but what can you do.

it just makes you think why bother and why replace it.

if you dont have it they cant take it.

My first car got broken into, stereo, boot changer, cd's, fhm and my rucksack taken (which had my uni project in it ) they stuffed up the driver side lock which meant i had to climb in from the passenger side for the remaining 2 months after i kept it...

Pain in the ass for sure, but meant i bought the bravo, which started this place off (y)

My Cinq had been broken into and had the stereo pinched a week before I bought it, they ****ed up all the wiring because they appear to have used a lighter to cut the wires.

we have been broken into, they stole my mums hand bag with photo's, sunglasses and umbrella in, found dumped up the road.

they kindly left my sisters new £800 ibook laptop sitting on the table  they would of had to go past it to get the bag  but she was rather happy :D

I hav ehad my flat broken into when at uni and loads of stuff stolen including an expensive limited edition fender guitar. :(

I have had my locks done, it was on new years morning 2.00am - 11.00am, pthis was the new millenium though, so wan't a great start for me

Fixed the lock myself, and replaced the stereo, cd's etc. It wasn't worth doing through the insurance :(

^God damn, didnt you have a alarm fitted with that sort of sound going on i would hire a personal guard to stand guard 24/7

well it's normally kept in the garage which is allarmed, but kept it on my dive 1 week when i was away at leeds. i took the works van up, and my father said he needed space in the garage that week to fix his volvo. came home friday nite, to be faced with broken glass everywhere and no ice. gutted.

someone once tried to get into my Bravo using a screw driver to get behind the lock. have no idea what they were after because the car was empty. would rather them of nicked the car and written it off because they didn't get in just screwed up the door so it wouldn't open. As it happens i wrote it off myself a few weeks later!

Got really steamed last night, and thought I would show my mate the head unit and speaker set up in my car. Anyway, when I woke up this afternoon  The back and front door of the house was wide open, the car door was closed but not locked, The head unit was clearly on display with the face plate on, complete with a selection of top DVD's neatly spread around the windscreen. God knows how, but nothing was stolen from my car or house.

Lucky one there PP!

Never been the victim of any robberies or theft personally but my dads fuel got syphoned and bros HU got stolen but that was like 20 years ago when car crime was big business round my way.

GF had her side window smashed but nothing taken although there was stuff in the car, they must've been disturbed mid theft.
