That's not too bad actually. works out less than £1 a mile, also works out less than it would cost to get a taxi there, put some petrol in, then drive back.

right this is confusing me
why is it that for 10 miles its £8, right so for 110 miles id expect it to be cheaper right? no, for 110 miles they quoted £155? thats way more than the 10 miles for £8.
so that means it would be cheaper to get them to pick it up, drop it 10 miles closer to me, then put it back on the truck then drive 10 miles then take it off...

no a 10 mile trip is local too them so is less hassle(i assume).your paying a preium as its further to travel,time etc
