oops my door's fallen off!

heard from a friend who works for Nissan customer services that the doors on the new micra are prone to falling off. she swears there have been numerous people on to her who were driving and a door just falls off. i did a google search and found a link about a major nissan cover up on problems with the micra. has anyone heard of anything about this

I've heard the new Micra has bitten off substantially more than it can chew, and yes, peopel are now paying the price. I hadn't hear about this door thing though, just to do with the electrics failing.

It's bad enough about the handbrakes on New Mini failing randomly..

It should be mandatory for all owners of new Micras to drive them into things at high speeds.

I've heard the stories about the electrics, but not the doors. I sincerely hope it's true though. Awful cars.

No, it uses the Primera BTCC lump, 2 litre NA monster thing in the place where the rear seats once lived pushing around 300bhp. Apparantly the transmission whines so much it sounds like your driving in reverse everywhere!
