Posting Skirts - Help!!!!

I am supposed to be posting out a pair of side skirts to a member on here and i am having trouble finding someone to take them.

I bought some skirts i am keeping off someone who sent them via royal mail. So i was planning to do the same!

I have tried to get them sent via Royal mail but they wont take them as they exceed 1.5 meters. The skirts are between 1.5 and 2m.

can anyone suggest anywhere that will take them, if they dont i might have to take a trip up to scotland!!!!

I dont want to pay anything over 15 as it only cost 8 for mine to be delivered.

Re: Posting Skirts - Help!!!!

Did they? Looking on the website, Royal Mail has a 1.5m policy for their standard parcels service BUT I can't see any such restriction for Parcelforce.

I will keep searching....

EDIT - AHHH, found it, hidden away - yeah 1.5m max

Re: Posting Skirts - Help!!!!

I used http://parcel2go.com/ for a set of skirts with no problems at 180cm.

On step 3 you have 3 yes/no boxes, tick all 3 as no and job done

Re: Posting Skirts - Help!!!!

How about interlinkexpress?

£14.70 for their parcel service - it seems to fit into their requirements for that, because the next service up is freight, defined as:

"any single item weighing between 31-350kg. In addition, freight parcels may be defined as having dimensions in excess of 2.7m girth and 2.0 in length"

EDIT - forget it
