Well i'm on 600k broadband and even i find this current server slow, it must be painful on a 56k modem.
The trial site above seems much better, is it going to cost you a lot to change servers?

ive also got an idea to make it faster, delete old posts, have a cut off date of like 8 days or sommet, so the old posts just go !!!

to be honest that wont speed up much as the database is kick ass anyhows!
the only speed increase that will affect is the listing of a forum and the search... i will look into archiving though, it must be of some use

I am on dial up and the site is still usable. Not the fastest and its still a pain to wade through all the tables, but thats your preferance and so be it.
