Kept me awake till after 3 last night and I had to wake up at seven to wake my mrs up to go to work. I am one grumpy sarcastic Mo-fo this morning as couldnt get back to sleep.

All was quiet till about half 12, then they come in and start talking loudly, sounding like they brought a fair few people from their night out, I thought fair enough, i can deal with this. Then I start getting ready for bed and theres doors slamming, banging, thumping noises you name it, all bar music.

Then it kicks off into an hour long arguement where some people get thrown out, and are then shouting at them in the street, they then go after sometime ( and some curtain twitching). All goes quiet about half one. Just dropping off then it kicks off again, doors banging , shouting, things being thrown about smashing, thumping, then about 2:15 it quietens down, then they put music on!

Now, i live in a terraced house, but we never heard the last guy who lived there so I may have become used to not hearing anything (mind you he was a nutter)

I didnt go round as I cant be arsed with hassle and I did drop off to the sound of gatecrasher or MOS or whatever they were playing.

I havent met them yet but I have seen them and they are young and they do have a young child (toddler age) and I thnk another kid about 5, so I have been considerate lately in that listening to music using head phones more often etc. Even my brother doesnt play his guitar at night because we dont want to upset the young child, I know young people like to have fun, and when we go back to a mates after the pub, its beers food and a dvd, and as little noise as possible- but that was mad last night.

I am sort of letting it slide as it is a saturday night, but still narked about the arguement noise. This isnt the first time they have made noise and kept people awake, although i wasnt here to experience it, and last time it was keeping my mum awake on a thursday night till gone 2 as they were sat in the garden till after then when it was hot- and she had to be at work at 8 the next day.

Was going to put music on this morning, do washing and hoovering throughout the house but im too grumpy and moody with a headache to do any.

Grrrrrr

Rant over

no no no no, you're on the wrong track there, you need to welcome them to the neighbourhood, show some love, put on that green cardy, and go say hi....

if they just moved in i would let this one slide but if it happens again i would give them a tug for it.
we have a group(god knows where they sleep as the flats are tiny)living in the bulding next door.
there noisy when outside there flat and when i see them next we are going to be having a chat ;)

Sorry but I have been there and worn the green cardy and after eight years of total misery[which the police did very little about]we eventually moved we did fight it and defended neighbours who were intimidated by this family but it cost ME and my family dearly in the end and the only way was to move out its a sorry state of affairs when after living in a home with many Friends around you you are forced to move your home and start again  and for you Turboned as you are a Police officer check what happen at 24,Grafton close Cyncoed cardiff on the evening of 12th Aug 2004 you will then see why I have a bitter attitude :)

what i meant was it would freaka diddly iddly oh them out enough that they would stay quiet therefore not encouraging you to come over and say hi diddly hi ho anymore.....

Oh I did all the Hi diddly Hi stuff and helped this family when they moved in AND I was the only person in the street to go over and shake hands and say hello and welcome even help to cut down their leylandii trees in the front for them little thanks we got just 8 years of total misery for the effort :)

Well, in a moment i am going to go to the pub, get drunk and i may invite a few people back as I aint working tomorrow!!!!!!!

I havent heard a peep from them all day, their car hasnt moved and the blinds are still shut. Headache was still bad so left maximo park playing loud ish while I went to Subway.

That's because they are recovering from their night of self indulgence and total inconsideration for their neighbours...

Smart move.(y) I also recommend Marilyn Manson or Rage Against the Machine for ultimate neighbour annoyance ;) Perhaps when your neighbours are tired and need to sleep, and then get kept up by loud noise only then will they realise what they put other people through.(y)

I did the same to some neighbours once who thought it was ok to have parties until 5am while playing loud music and making loads of noise. What they didn't realise is that on the other side of the wall was my bedroom and a bass player. Take one Trace Elliot 4x12 bass cabinet, one Trace Elliot AH250 (250 Watt) amplifier head, place both right up against and facing the wall and play bass at 9am in the morning. Oh, and deliberately put the bass guitar out of tune so that it sounds even more discordent

My bass rig can resemble the noise of a low flying jet aircraft and can shake the foundations of the house. They had one more party after that and in return got a two hour bass solo the following morning. Strangely enough, they seemed to stop making quite so much noise after that... :D

i think if it happens again u really need to tell them i got the same trouble were i live except im the one with the two small children alot ov people in society today stand back and say nothing thats why the world is as mad as it is and the youth ov today think they can get away with anything because they no alot ov people will not say any thing. i always make a stand and let people that **** me off no in not happy i never get violent but i got a good way with words and it always works in my favor. MAKE A STAND U NO U WANT TO.

The next time it happens something is being said, dependent on whether it happens this weekend (so we can anticipate it being a regular occurance) or if it happens in a months time.

When I left for the pub the bloke was coming out and he just stared at me- probably my music that afternoon!

Got in at half one this morning and i didnt attempt to be quiet whilst I made a pizza and drinks!!! also watched tv as well without turning the telly down!

What a conicidence, was going to post something very similar about my new neighbours, they had a noisy party at the weekend, I wasn't in but my Mum told me, letting them off with it since I assume it was there house warming but we'll see.

well as it turns out the new neighbour went to school with miss BBS and they had a word, and didnt realise they were that loud and apologised

She also came round last night to let us know she is having noisy work done early morning, I said it was ok and thanked her for coming round and she again mentioned that party and apologised.

When my folks get back I have to tell them that they let us know when they are going to be noisy and i think we should do the same.

She is quite a nice person to and I havent met her bloke yet, although he has seen me in my car and likes to stare at me. :s
