i payed 1600 for my mk1 sporting 16v. gt3 wheels mint condition ~42k on clock. '98 'S' reg. great service history

That's MK2 money. It's over priced. I wouldn't be looking to pay any more than about £1200 for that at the very most. Mk1 Puntos have come down in value even more since the Grande Punto was launched. I paid £275 for my 1995 Punto S, one owner from new, mot, tax, full history and not barely mark on it.

i see mk1 sporting in good condition, with average mileage and service for £1000-1200 so id pay no more than £1000 really but if it is perfect then as steve says £1200

lol yep as suspected it is over priced i thought so just wanted confirmation. cant see seller getting many ofers at that price.
